How ZappSell handles your money and your buyers

Where the money sits, how delivery works, how accounts are protected, the rules every store follows, and how to reach us.

How money moves

ZappSell holds your balance between a sale and your payout. Here is every step.

  1. 1. The buyer pays through NOWPayments

    Checkout is processed by NOWPayments. The buyer pays in the coin they choose, from any wallet, and the order stays pending until the payment is confirmed.

  2. 2. The order confirms and is delivered

    Once the payment is confirmed, the order is marked paid exactly once and the buyer receives their key, code, or link by email.

  3. 3. The sale is credited to your ZappSell balance

    ZappSell holds the proceeds, minus the platform fee, in your ZappSell balance between the sale and your payout. Your balance is your completed sales minus what has already been paid out.

  4. 4. You request a payout

    From the dashboard you request a payout to your own wallet address. You can make up to 2 payout requests in any rolling 7-day period.

  5. 5. The ZappSell team processes it

    Payout requests are reviewed and sent manually by the ZappSell team to the wallet you provided, and the transaction is recorded against your account.

Delivery guarantee

When a payment confirms, the order moves to paid exactly once, and a single delivery worker claims it. For limited stock, the keys for that order are claimed from your inventory before any email is sent, so two buyers can never receive the same key, even when orders arrive at the same moment. If the email cannot be sent, the claimed keys return to your stock and the delivery is retried.

Security

Passwords

Stored with Argon2id, a modern password-hashing algorithm. We never store your password in plain text.

Sessions

Short-lived sign-in tokens with rotating refresh tokens, so a stolen token stops working quickly.

Payment notifications

Every payment callback is signature-checked before an order can change state.

Your stock

Keys and links never appear in storefront pages or APIs. They leave our servers only in the delivery email after payment.

Buyer sign-in

Buyers view orders with a one-time email code, and the sign-in flow does not reveal whether an email has orders.

Abuse protection

Rate limits on sign-in, checkout, and support forms, and a second factor on sensitive admin actions.

What you can't sell

Stolen or cracked software, cheats, stored value, personal data and more are not allowed. The full list and how we enforce it are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
