Telegram alerts tell you the moment something happens in your store, without keeping the dashboard open. They are a Premium feature; see pricing.
What you get
- Order paid: an instant alert when a sale is paid and delivered.
- Weekly balance: a weekly reminder when your balance is above zero.
- Payout updates: a notice when a payout is requested or processed.
- Subscription renewal: a reminder when your paid plan is due for renewal.
Connect the bot
- Go to Settings → Social & Notifications.
- Choose Connect Telegram. A window opens with your linking code.
- Tap Open Bot to open the ZappSell bot in Telegram with the code filled in, or copy the code and send it to the bot yourself.
- Return to the dashboard. The Telegram Bot panel shows your store as connected.
Only link the bot from your own Telegram account. Anyone who receives your alerts can see your order and balance activity.
Disconnect
Choose Disconnect in the same panel to stop alerts. You can connect again at any time, for example after switching to a new Telegram account. Your linking code stays the same, so reconnecting only takes a moment.
Not getting alerts?
- Check the panel still shows your store as connected, and that your Premium plan is active.
- Make sure you have not blocked or muted the bot in Telegram.
- Order alerts are sent when a sale is paid and delivered, not when an order is created.
Which plan includes it?
Telegram alerts are included with Premium. On the Free plan the Connect button is replaced by an upgrade prompt. If your Premium plan ends, your Telegram stays linked but alerts pause, and they resume automatically when you renew.
Not the same as your Telegram channel link
The Telegram field under social links is different: it adds your public channel or group link to your storefront for buyers. Alerts go only to you.
