Stock on ZappSell is a list of stock values: the actual text a buyer receives by email after paying. A value can be a license key, an activation code, an access link, or any other short text.

Limited stock: one value per unit

With Stock Mode set to Limited, paste your values into the Stock Values box and choose how they are separated with Stock Values Delimiter:

  • Comma (recommended): KEY-AAAA, KEY-BBBB, KEY-CCCC
  • Pipe: KEY-AAAA | KEY-BBBB | KEY-CCCC
  • New line: one value per line. Use this if your values themselves contain commas.

The counter under the box shows how many unique values you have. Duplicates are removed when you save, so the same key can never be sold twice. Your stock count is the number of unique, unsold values.

What happens when someone buys

When a payment confirms, ZappSell claims one value per unit from your stock before sending the delivery email, so two buyers can never receive the same key, even if they check out at the same moment. If the email cannot be sent, the claimed values go back into your stock and delivery is retried. Buyers can re-open their delivered items later from order tracking.

Unlimited stock: one shared value

Set Stock Mode to Unlimited when every buyer should get the same thing, such as an invite link or a download link. Enter exactly one value. It is never used up, and commas and spaces are treated as part of the value. Quantity is fixed at 1 in the cart for these products.

Duration tiers

With Duration-based pricing on, each tier (for example "1 Month" and "1 Year") has its own price and its own stock box. The delimiter applies to each tier's values, and the buyer receives a value from the tier they chose.

Topping up and checking stock

  • Edit the product and add more values to the stock box; existing unsold values are loaded for you.
  • The My shop page shows units left per product and lets you copy unsold values.
  • A product with limited stock and nothing left shows as sold out.
